Pioneras - 26 Group's story

The 'PIONERAS - 26e' community bank has eight members: seven women and one man. The bank's president, Maria, is 26 years old and has two children who are 5 and 2 years old. Her business is selling gifts in different function rooms around the city of El Alto. This loan is her second with the institution. Maria will use her loan to buy gifts and gift wrap wholesale for her business and thereby increase her working capital. Her reason for requesting this loan is to continue improving her business. Maria will use her profits to continue buying gifts and thereby continue improving her income. Her wish for her business is to have a store where she can sell a range of gifts. Maria is a very hard-working person who feels happy with the opportunity that she is being given. Her fellow group members feel the same way as some of them are supporting their families on their own.
