San is 60 years old. She is married and resides with her three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice for more than twenty years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $6 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, San is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase a motorbike for carrying vegetables to sell. This money will help her run an additional business and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her child earn a bachelor’s degree.
