A loan of $5,600 helped a member to buy fabric, zippers and elastics.

Tekove Porá Rekavo Group's story

Tekove Pora Rekavo means "In search of a new lifestyle" in Guarani, the second language of Paraguay. That's exactly why all of these women got together, to be able to fight for a new way of life.

Rosa is one of them, and tells us that she is a seamstress. Thanks to her modest work she has gotten ahead, and day by day she works hard to keep doing so. Through her effort she has been able to give her family what they need and keep them from hardships.

She asks for a loan to buy fabric, zippers and elastics, because she has orders that she'd like to be able to complete. She is grateful for the help that Fundacian Paraguaya and Kiva give her.
