Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Trabajadoras" ("Working Women") communal bank is from Chaco. They're on their first loan cycle of Fundación Paraguaya's program for women. They're learning to work together, and through this work they wish to support their families and provide them with what they need.
Marcelina is one of the members. She sells food of every kind, and she prepares it herself. She reports that she works everyday from the very early hours of the day and finishes very late. She's very enterprising and has a lot of dreams she wishes to fulfill.
She requests the loan in order to purchase meat, condiments, vegetables and other supplies, so that she can keep on working and supporting her family.
