A loan of $1,150 helped buy women's clothes to sell in her store.

Yahany Maribel's story

Yahany is a repeat client who has previously acquired the benefits of the Edpyme-Kiva alliance to consolidate her clothing sales business. She is the mother of a family, 30 years old, and lives with her parents and her 2 children in northern Peru's Tambogrande district.

Yahany has proven to be a truly enterprising young person and has been able to develop 2 types of businesses. Her parents allowed her to use a part of their house to install internet cabins to rent, and on the other side of the house, Yahany has opened a small business selling clothing and accessories for women. She now has 1 year of experience in this business and has already acquired a fixed clientele.

At present, Yahany is requesting a loan through Edpyme Alternative for 3,000 new sols to expand her clothing stock for sale. For that purpose, she will travel to the city of Lima in search of better offers.

Yahany is a hard-working and enterprising woman. People who know her admire her urge to get ahead and progress.
