A loan of $1,050 helped to buy supplies to manufacture saddles.

Alejandro's story

Alejandro, 56, is married and has two children. He lives with his wife and two children who work sewing just like their mother. It is an enterprising family with very good principles. They live in the Aurora neighborhood of city of Tocoa in Colon.

Alejandro learned to sew 18 years ago when he worked in a saddlery and then decided to start his own tailoring business and also to manufacture saddles for horses and shoes and everything else to do with saddle-making.

The loan Alejandro’s asking for is needed to buy supplies to manufacture saddles, thread to sew with and everything else needed to stock his business.
With help from this loan he will be able to stock his tailor shop and his saddlery and be able to offer his customers everything they need.

His goal as a family is that each of his children has their own tailor shop in the future. This is the first loan Alejandro has asked FAMA for and he expects to make his installment payments punctually.
