A loan of $4,400 helped a member to increase on the Retail inventory and increase on the fruits & Vegetables to resell.


Momela Group's story

Yasin, who is in his early 30s is married with two children who go to school. He has two businesses a Retail shop, fruits and vegetables since 2004. He works from 6.00 am to 9.30 pm daily and is able to make s good monthly profit. This will be his 7th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to restock the missing items in the retail shop, started fruits and vegetable business,bought a TV set, a Radio, DVD deck, paid school fees and has started building his house. He has paid back all his loans successfully. He wants a loan to increase on the Retail inventory and increase on the fruits & Vegetables stock to resell. His dream is to one day be able to finish building his house. Yasin, will share this loan with his loan group "Molela" which has a total of 13 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
