Mahoulolo Group's story

MAHOULOLO Group is made up of 21 persons who live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, named Euphrasie, is the one raising her hand in the photograph.

In order to bolster their businesses and better meet customer demand, the members of this group are seeking financial support from Kiva's partner, ALIDé, for the first time.

Euphrasie, age 44, never attended school. She's married to an electrician named Janvier. The couple has four children who all go to school. Three of them are still in the care of the couple.

Euphrasie and her husband live together with their children, and the couple ensures together that the various family expenses are covered.

In order to provide for her family, Euphrasie sells food products and palm oil through the delivery system and in one of Benin's markets. She's been doing this job for about twenty years.

She gets her supplies in one of Benin's markets. In order to bolster their businesses and better satisfy their clientele, Euphrasie and the other members of MAHOULOLO Group are seeking their first loan from ALIDé. They ambition to increase the turnover of their businesses.
