Gissela's story

Gissela is 36 and is a very enterprising and hard-working woman. She has 2 children, who are 18 and 7, for whom she has cared since she has been alone for many years. She lives in her parents' home and what she wants most is to be able to see her children become professionals. She makes a living selling cosmetics and perfume. She goes out every day to visit various friends, neighbors, and family members to sell her merchandise. On some occasions, her customers come to her house. She has done this work by herself for 18 years. She learned it and strengthened her sales techniques. She knows she has to work hard to be able to be successful in this type of business and she hopes to keep her customers. In the future, she wants to have her own cosmetics store. This is her tenth credit with Microfinanzas Prisma, and she is very happy to know that she has financial support since she feels surer about getting ahead in her work. She promises to make her payments in a punctual manner again like she has done with her previous loans. She is very happy to belong to her communal bank because the members are very responsible and supportive people. With the requested amount (4,000 PEN) she will buy a larger quantity of merchandise, made up of perfumes and cosmetics, to continue selling and increasing her number of customers.
