A loan of $500 helped to buy more clothing and shoes to sell.

Cindy's story

Cindy, 27, is a good and friendly woman. Her partner is Francisco and they have a 4-year old daughter named Mayte. They live in their own house which they built and she wishes to offer her daughter a good quality of life.

She sells clothing daily when she visits the homes of her friends, neighbors and relatives to offer them items. She has been in this business for 2 years and usually she sells on credit. She works alone either in her house or in her customer’s homes. She likes the business because it allows her to dedicate herself to her family as well as helping pay for household expenses. She wishes to continue working and enlarging her business by selling children’s shoes. But for now she is concentrating on keeping current in the market.

This is her second loan with MFP and she is very happy to know that she has financial support, That way she can feel more confident to advance in her work. For this she again promises to make her payments on time as she did previously. She is content to belong to the communal bank since all the members are very responsible and supportive.

She will use the requested money (1300 sols) to buy merchandise of clothing and some different models of shoes.
