Soeurng is 30 years old. She is married and blessed with two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for more than 7 years, earning approximately 6 USD per day. Her husband runs the taxi service and earns about 6 USD per day.
Because the present motorbike is old, Soeurng is requesting a loan of 1,000 USD to purchase a motorbike for her husband to run the taxi service. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand her grocery store and help her children earn bachelor's degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
