A loan of $2,675 helped a member to purchase cookware and household appliances for preparing food.

Vida Group's story

The group of women known as “Vida” (Life) is from the town of San Nicolás de Los Garza. They are one of many groups that have women entrepreneurs who combine both youth and experience.

One of the members is Bertha. She is an enthusiastic woman and a single mother with one child. Being the head of her family motivates her each day to work and help her family get ahead. Bertha prepares food from her home and delivers it to her neighbors and nearby businesses. She also prepares special requests according to whatever her customers ask of her. Bertha has done very well. For this reason, she is committing herself to a loan so that she can invest in kitchen equipment, specifically cookware and household appliances for preparing food. Bertha is confident that this investment will generate enormous returns.
