A loan of $1,150 helped to buy a motorcycle, parts and accessories for his motorcycle refitting business.

Anthony's story

Anthony, 29, is a hard-working and enterprising man. He is separated from the mother of his son and now lives with his parents, his brothers and sisters and their families.
Anthony operates a business buying and selling motorcycles. He buys used motorcycles, repairs them and refits them for racing so he can sell them at a much higher price. He rents a space where he carries out the work. His cousin, a mechanic, helps him with the repairs. Anthony started the business more than a year ago and says that he is encouraged with his progress because he's already making a little money. He didn't earn much from the part-time job that he had before and his pay wasn't enough to provide for his son. For the future, he wants to open a store where he can sell motorcycles of different makes and models.
Anthony says that this is his first MFP loan. He is glad to have found this means of financing his business and is committed to repaying the loan in the agreed-upon time.
Anthony is applying for a 3000 new soles loan. He will use 1500 new soles to buy a used motorcycle and the rest for parts and accessories to refit it.
