A loan of $575 helped to fix her sewing machine and buy sewing materials.

Cimi's story

Cimi, 47, is a very happy woman with the desire to excel. She is married to Alipio who is a photographer and is the father of her two children: Sara and Jireh who are 17 and 13 years old, respectively. They live together in her own home which they built with a lot of effort.

Her activity is sewing, a trade she learned by studying at a vocational education center. She then bought a sewing machine with her savings and she began investing more with the loans from MFP. She currently has four sewing machines which she has in her home where she also attends to her customers. She has succeeded in being preferred by and recommended by many people. She began her business over 10 years ago and so far has been doing it on her own. She likes what she does because she can help her partner in covering the household expenses. But the difficult part is sitting in the same position all the time which causes back pain. But that does not discourage her and she continues working and striving.

This is her 16th loan with MFP. She feels happy to be able to have working capital so that she can deliver on the orders she has pending; in addition to being comfortable with her communal bank because it is a united and collaborative group.

With the amount requested, 1500 PEN, she will fix the machine that she uses to stamp brooches and buttons and also buy materials (fabric, thread, etc.).
