A loan of $1,150 helped to buy a variety of groceries in large quantities.

Elias's story

Elias, 30, is a hardworking and enterprising man in addition to being friendly and cordial. His partner is Luz who is a merchant and mother of his two children: Kevin, 2 years old, and Atzel, 5 months. They all live together in his own home along with his sister-in-law. His business is the selling and distributing of groceries. For this business, he conditioned a space in his home where he stores his products. He distributes them to the grocery stores in remote communities and zones. He learned this skill by working as a salesman in a company, but he left because of the low pay they gave him. He decided to start his own business over a year ago. During this time he was able to grow and have many customers with the support of his partner who looked after the small store they also had in the house. He likes his job because he socializes with many people and also because he has a job where he feels like a successful businessman. This is his fourth loan with MFP. He is very happy and grateful that he can count on this loan to move his business forward. Therefore, he agrees to comply with the payments just as he did for the previous loans. With the amount requested, 3000 PEN, he will buy a variety of wholesale groceries looking for low prices by buying in volume.
