A loan of $500 helped to buy sacks of corn and meal.

Moussédikou's story

Moussédikou is 49 and lives in Bénin. Moussédikou is married to a retailer by the name of Nassifatou. They have fourteen dependent children, eleven of whom are their own children. All the children attend school, and live together with their parents. Between them, the couple cover the various household expenses.
To assist with the family's living requirements, for the last twenty or so years Moussédikou has sold foodstuff products (corn, meal) in his shop. Moussédikou buys his goods in the north of Bénin. Thanks to the income this activity generates for him, Moussédikou is able to contribute to meeting the family's expenses.
In order to meet the demand from his ever increasing customer base, Modjirola Rosalie is seeking a third loan with ALIDé. The two loans previously received have both been fully repaid.
