Salima's story

Salima is the leader of the group "Azamat." She is 56 years old, married, and has five children. Salima needed income fifteen years ago, so she started her farming business. Thanks to Salima's hard work, now the farm has two cows with calves and three horses. She makes 4,000 som (KGS) selling dairy products. Salima also farms four acres of land, growing mostly potatoes and corn. In order to further develop her business, Salima has asked Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase calves. With the money she makes from the loan, Salima plans to pay for tuition so that her youngest daughter can study in the capital city.
