Sor is 38 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband is a policeman in APSARA authority. He earns about $10 per day. Her children are still in her care.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Sor is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run an additional business of selling vegetables in order to generate more income to support the family and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
