A loan of $400 helped to buy goods for her small shop in order to cope with increasing demand.

Gloria's story

Gloria is a 63-year-old hardworking woman, living with her husband and her mother. She has developed a reputation for her nice cooking of tamales (a local dish) and roast pig, which she sells together with soft drinks.

She established her small shop about five years ago and is still working hard to make it as nice as possible. Gloria also does take-away services and has a solid client base for her products. Moreover, to increase the income for the household, her husband works on a farm, growing corn and beans.

She is now looking to take a loan of 1,000 PEN with Edpyme Alternativa to buy different goods for her small shop.
