A loan of $2,000 helped to purchase an apricot harvest.

Sayohat's story

Sayokhat is a kind and hardworking woman; she is married and has two children. For more than ten years she has been selling dried apricots and processing harvests from apricot orchards. She works alone. Each year she buys apricot trees and rents 1.5 hectares of orchard space from the city of Khudzhand. Her husband is a carpenter, and earns an income providing carpentry services. Sayokhat has received loans from IMON International for several years, and has a good reputation and an excellent credit history. Sayokhat would like to receive a loan in the amount of 2000 dollars to purchase an orchard's worth of apricot trees to grow and process apricots.
