A loan of $1,525 helped to cover the cost of buying car which uses natural gas for expanding and improving his business.

Zorigt's story

Zorigt, 34, is a taxi driver who works in the districts of Darkhan, the second largest city. He has been running his business for a year and has earned a profit. He wants to expand his business. He has a plan of buying one more car that uses natural gas. And his brother will use that car for a taxi business. They have a plan of business team. Although Mongolia has the lowest population density in the world, it is one of the most polluted countries due to the long and cold winters where temperatures frequently go below -40C (-40F) even in cities. In the winter, many parts of the country are extremely cold and are known to have snow storms. Both homes and nomadic tents use a lot of fuel and emit huge amounts of pollution every night from families just trying to stay warm. Additionally, the smoky and extremely toxic smoke from the cars is one of main reasons for Mongolian air pollution.

In response to this, Credit Mongol offers Green Loans to their clients to make home improvements that reduce heat loss, improve heating systems, and buy cars that use natural gas. Credit Mongol believes that together we can decrease pollution and the harmful effects it has on both the environment and the health of Mongolians.

Zorigt is requesting a loan to cover the cost of buying car which uses natural gas for expanding and improving his business.
