A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy pork.

Corazon De Maria Group's story

The Group "Corazón de Maria” is seeking its first loan from the Paraguay Foundation's program for women entrepreneurs. They work together with great enthusiasm. There goal is to be able to reach the top level of the program and thus be able to help themselves and their families.

Elena has a business selling pork. She says that things are going well, and that she herself butchers and sells the meat. She is a very hardworking and enterprising person, and most importantly she is willing to make sacrifices so she can help her family and provide them with a better life.

She is seeking this loan to buy pork, which she will use to stock her inventory and be able to fulfill her customers' orders. She thanks the Paraguay Foundation and Kiva for the help that she and her group have received.
