La Esperanza Group's story

The “La Esperanza” (Hope) committee is in its second cycle with ten members. The group began with unity and mutual support among the members who have economic activities and are very hardworking. This group is made up of indigenous women.

Olga is group president. She comments that she raises barnyard animals to sell like chickens and pigs. She comments that it’s very demanding work because she must care for her animals all day. She’s a very hardworking, enterprising person who always strives to the maximum to be able to help her family.

Olga is asking for a loan to buy animal feed for her animals because she wants to have a good stock of it.
