Analina is 53 years old, married and the mother of four children. She works hard to provide for her family by running a general store in the Philippines. She has requested a loan for PHP 28,000 through NWTF to buy additional items to sell to her customers. Analina has borrowed and repaid 14 previous loans from NWTF. She has run her general store for 15 years and earns additional income from food vending and buying and selling charcoal. Her goal is to save enough money to expand her business.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
