Sokuntheary is 30 years old. She is married and blessed with three children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband runs a taxi service (with a tuk tuk taxi). He earns about $15 per day. Her children are still in her care.
Because of the present tuk tuk’s trailer is old, Sokuntheary is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a new trailer for her husband to run the business. This purchase will help her husband attract more customers and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home to generate additional income for her family and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
