Leark's story

Leark is a 41-year-old homemaker who lives in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is married and blessed with five children. Her husband operates a taxi service and earns about 5 USD a day.

In order to improve her family’s finances, Leark is requesting a loan of 1300 USD from KREDIT to buy a tuk-tuk (an auto rickshaw) for her son so he can run a taxi service. This purchase will help her son generate more income to support the family.

Leark’s ambition is to develop an additional means of income so as to generate extra money for the family and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. She also would like to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable and convenient for her family.
