Melquiades's story

Melquiades is a 32-year-old married man with 4 children living in the rural area of Tambogrande in Northern Peru. His main activity is raising pigs, cows and poultry. He also has a hectare of land dedicated to his lemon crop. Over the last 8 years, Melquiades has developed an expertise in these areas of agriculture and has started applying rudimentary technology to help him improve the quality of his products. Part of his advancement and success has been made possible thanks to previous loans with Edpyme Alternativa. He is now requesting a loan to invest specifically in his lemon crop.
