Booku Diom Kanda Group's story

Booku Diom Kanda Group is made up of four women, who are all married and with children. Their trade is selling fabrics and cosmetics. They purchase the products wholesale and share out between them, accordingly to each other's contribution.

The group's leader (wearing a black scarf in the photograph) is the mother of three children. She sells her products at her home, in a small shop in front of her house.

The income earned from this business enables the women to provide for themselves, but also to improve the feeding conditions of their respective family.

To bolster their working capital, the members of the group are seeking a loan of XOF 500'000 in order to purchase fabrics and cosmetics.
