A loan of $750 helped to buy more merchandise for her store.

Rayda's story

Rayda is 54 years old. She is kind, humble, and above all a hard worker. She has four children and lives in the house she built with her ex-husband. She lives there with her two older children and grandchildren.

She sells groceries and beverages. She runs her business from her house located in a very popular street of the city, which is why she has clients every day. She still remembers when she started her business about five years ago. She encountered many challenges, but with time she has managed to overcome them. Currently, her store is frequently visited given the large product variety at good prices and above all, that service is always available from early in the morning.

Additionally, as an alternative, she works as a seamstress, either making clothing from her own designs or by customer order. She enjoys what she does, since it gives her the option to use her time in multiple activities from home. She's doing very well, since she earns a considerable income for her family. She has many plans for her business, among them to expand her locale and thus be able to sell more products.

This is her fourth credit with the MFI and she's very happy to have financial backing, which enables her to move forward with her business. Likewise, she is committed to promptly pay her loan payments, in line with previous loans. She's also very happy to belong to her communal bank, since all of the members are very responsible and supportive.

With the amount requested (2000 PEN), she will buy more beverages and groceries to stock her store.
