Arasape Poty Group's story

The ten [female] members of the Arasape Poty group are from the city of Caacupé. They are hard-working women who would like to make progress in life through the work that they do. They would like to be able to give their families everything that they themselves did not have and ensure they do not suffer hardships.

Elva is a very creative and meticulous woman. She displays these qualities in each piece of work that she makes. Her business is crochet. She makes all kinds of items such as bedspreads, cushion covers, clothing, tablecloths, etc. She says that she always sells everything that she makes because her work is very beautiful and good quality.

Elva is requesting a loan to buy yarn, needles, dyes and other supplies she needs to continue doing her crochet work.
