Ana Maria's story

Ana Maria is a young person of 19 years of age. She is in a defacto relationship with one dependant child. She lives in her own house in a small community 15 minutes from Tambogrande in the north of Peru. It is a community with a desire to develop since it still does not have some of the basic services it needs.

Ana Maria earns her living selling groceries (canned) and drinks. She also has farm animals and poultry. She shares this work with her partner and her younger nieces who look after the business when Ana Maria is looking after the animals. She has had this business for around one year and thanks to her great desire to improve her situation and her faith in the business she is asking for a loan. She will use this loan of 1000 soles with Edpyme Alternativa to buy working capital for her grocery shop and to buy feed for the animals
