A loan of $750 helped to buy animal feed.

Angélica's story

Angélica is 37 years old and married to William. They have two children, Amir and Johan, who they care for in their own home located in the town of San Pedro.

Angélica earned a college degree in Social Work and now wants to put her education to good use. Being a woman with great initiative, she began working on a few social projects sponsored by the government. However, her main source of income is derived from raising animals, such as pigs, guinea pigs, and sheep. After they have been raised and fed, the animals are sold at a higher price. Angélica is recognized and has established customers, so she is able to generate a stable income. In addition, she sells food in the afternoons to four people who have hired her and pay for the daily meals that she prepares. As a way of increasing her profits, she uses the meat from the animals she raises in preparing these meals.

This is her 22nd loan with MFP and she has worked with this organization for more than eight years. She is grateful for the trust that has been demonstrated to her. Angélica promises to complete her payments, just as she did with her previous loans. She will invest the money in the purchase of balanced feed for her animals.
