A loan of $950 helped to buy merchandise to supply her store.

María's story

María, 25, is a single mother. She lives in a rented house with her beloved daughter Hayddi, 3, whom she wants to give a better future.

Her business is a grocery store. She has a place in the market of her town and her stall is the busiest because it's the first one to open and the last to close. What she most likes about her job is advising her customers about the quality and variety of each product. She has done this work for three months and she considers the most difficult thing to be staying in her store all day because her income depends on it.

With this loan of 1,000 nuevos soles [PEN], she will buy more provisions for her grocery store (bags of rice, sugar, milk, and other products).
