Delia

Peru
CUSCO, Peru / Grocery Store

A loan of $950 helped to buy more food to stock her stand.

Delia's story

Delia, 27, is a very industrious woman who lives with her partner, Reynaldo, 26, and their dear son, Benjer, 2, in a rented house-they want to give their son a better quality of life.

Delia wakes up very early every day to prepare food for her family and then goes to her stand in the market where she lives. She has a stand for groceries and vegetables and thanks to her charisma and congeniality in the way she treats her customers, they will always buy from her knowing that she has a big variety of products. What she likes most about her work is chatting with her customers. She has had this business for 2 months and despite the short time she has had it, she considers the most difficult part to be having to stand on her feet all day.

She will use the 2500 new sols requested to buy more merchandise such as rice, sugar, milk, noodles, canned goods, vegetables and more food.
