A loan of $575 helped to purchase fertilizers and pay rent on the land.

Juana's story

Juana is 24 years old, her husband is Pedro and together they have two children; Jefferson and Estefania, whom they take care of in their own home located in Rundo.
Her main activity is farming. She grows potatoes and corn in her fields and also in others that she rents in times when her own are not enough. She sells her harvest, which is the result of long months of hard work, in the city. Since she is a very hard working woman she also raises cows and sheep, which she fattens up and then sells when necessary. Currently she wants to get money together to buy more farm land.
She belong to the community bank "Rundo al Progreso" (Rundo to progress) and this is her 5th loan with MFP. She is grateful for the financial support that she has received all this time. She promises to make her repayments on time. She is also very happy to be part of her group because the members are responsible and supportive.
Juana will invest the requested money in the purchase of fertilizers for her potato harvest and will also pay the rent for the leased farm land.
