A loan of $575 helped to purchase groceries in order to restock her store.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 48 years old, and has been widowed for 23 years. Since then, she has raised her children alone and now lives with the last two. She is a very happy woman; her charisma and friendliness have helped her to obtain the customers that [shop] at her store. Another advantage [Rosa has] is the area where her business is located; it is in the center of the town and also offers vegetables and meat. She strives every day to obtain all the products that her customers need. "When a customer enters my store, I make sure that they buy something and that they don't leave with empty hands," she says. For that reason, she feels happy since she earns good profits that enable her to support her children.

This is [her] third loan with MFP [Microfinanzas Prisma] and she hopes to turn her plans into a reality with this financial support. She promises to make her payments on time as on previous occasions. It pleases her to be part of her group because all of the members are responsible and supportive people. Rosa will invest the requested money in the purchase of staple products to restock her store with groceries.
