A loan of $375 helped to renew his work tools.

Joe's story

Joe is 34 years old and has been in a relationship with 23-year-old Marleni for five years. He has two children who are 5 and 12 years old. He owns his own home and there, together with his family, he shares the happiness of making progress in life and achieving success.

Joe is in the construction trade. He is a builder. He does private work and works on recommendations. He is very meticulous in his work and always looks to leave any job in tip-top condition so that his customers are satisfied and happy with the job. In addition to this work, he also works as a carpenter. Joe has been in this trade for four years. Both of these businesses make him good profits which allow him to cover his family's basic needs. What he enjoys about his work is that he is able to suggest new building styles to his customers and, when he puts them into practice, he becomes very emotional when he sees his finished work. He is passionate about improving his work and being able to own his own building company.

This is Joe's second loan from MFP. He is very happy to know that he has financial support as it makes him feel more secure in making progress in his work. He pledges, once again, to make his loan repayments on time as he did with his previous loan. Joe is very happy to belong to his community bank because all the members are very responsible and supportive people.

Joe will use the 1,000 soles that he has requested to replace the tools that he uses in his building work (metric tape measure, trowels, plasterers hawks, polishers, etc.)
