A loan of $375 helped to purchase more clothes to sell.

Leoncia's story

Leoncia is 67 years old. She lives in her own home, which she bought together with her husband Fortunato many years ago. She has two grown children who also live in the house with her. Despite her age, she still works in her clothing store. She has been working there for more than fifteen years. She says that over all this time her business has been very busy due to the good service and friendliness she provides her customers. She used to work alone, and now she occasionally relies on her children’s or her husband’s help. She really enjoys spending time with her family.

She feels very happy knowing that she has loan help from MFP [Microfinanzas Prisma] to keep her business going. Additionally, she promises to be timely with her payments, as she has been with previous loans. She is grateful to be a member of her communal bank since her companions are caring and responsible people.
With these 1,000 PEN [$375] she will supply her store with more clothes, which she will bring from the capital city since she can find a greater variety and better prices there.
