A loan of $750 helped purchase merchandise for her grocery store.

Dionisia's story

Dionisia is thirty-four years old. Her partner is Romulo, who is forty years old. They both purchased a plot of land where they built their house with durable materials (cement and brick). They currently live there with their two children, who are students, and for whom they hope to provide a better quality of life.

Along with her husband, Dionisia takes great pains to get ahead day after day. They both hope that their children will have professional careers and a better future. To that end, they opened their grocery store thirteen years ago in their house, which is going well for them since it provides them with good earnings. What she likes best about her work is that she works with her husband while attending to her customers. In the future, they hope that their store will make wholesale sales since that would help them generate more income to cover their children’s education.

She is very grateful to MFP [Microfinanzas Prisma] for trusting in her work. She promises to make punctual loan payments as she has previously done.
With this loan of 2,000 PEN [$750], Dionisia will purchase a bag of rice, a bag of sugar, vegetables, varieties of noodles, and other foodstuffs for her store.
