A loan of $1,125 helped to buy fertilizer for his cocoa crop.

Dionicio's story

Dionicio, 39, lives in the house he bought eight years ago through his hard work. His wife, María, is 40 years old and they have three children: Abner, Yesenia and Deyvis, who are his daily motivation for getting ahead.

Cocoa farming is the daily activity he has been involved in for 15 years. He has his own patch of land, and every morning he gets up enthusiastically to go see how his crops are doing. Dionicio feels this is the best job he can have since it is what he enjoys most, and thanks to it, he can give his family a good lifestyle. However, he feels the most difficult part of the job is transporting the harvest to the collection centers. So, what he desires most is to buy a vehicle to avoid having to carry too much weight.

He is grateful for the financial support received from MFP because he is confident it will help him advance in his job. Also, he is committed to paying back the loan on time, as with previous loans.

The loan in the amount of 3,000 PEN will be used to buy chemical fertilizers for maintenance of his cocoa crop.
