A loan of $375 helped to buy more products to supply his grocery store.

Rolando's story

Rolando is 49 years old and a hard working, honest and very responsible man. His partner of the past 22 years is Maximiliana, 41, with whom he has four children. Two of them are still minors, Giovani who is 13 years old and Alison, 3. They are his reason for working and sacrificing. His business is the sale of groceries. He has established a small store in his house, which is located in a very busy part of the city. This helps him to always have a consistent clientele. He has been doing this work for 11 years and, since he began, he has always had the full support of his partner. In addition to working in his store, he also dedicates himself to selling soft drinks and beer, and he eventually works with his motorcar. What he enjoys about his work is that it allows him to generate income from the comfort of his own home, as well as the fact that he can work at the side of his partner. The daily income he generates is encouraging, and he hopes to augment the variety of products he carries. Looking ahead, he would like to build a mini-market and offer more products to his customers. This is his 5th loan with MFP, and he is very happy to know he has financial support since it makes him feel more secure in advancing his business. Likewise, he commits to once again making his loan payments on time like he has done before. He is happy to belong to his cooperative bank because all the members are responsible and united. With the amount requested (1000 Peruvian soles), he will buy products for his store such as beverages, dairy products, rice, sugar, etc.
