Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The “Mujeres Unidas” (Women United) communal bank is comprised of 22 women from the city of Caacupé. They have joined together in the spirit of helping their families by working together. The group is named Mujeres Unidas because all of them are united for a better future.

Maria, the president of the group, sells all types of perfume. It is going very well for her because she has very good clientele. She always offers her customers a good variety and good prices.

Maria wants to continue earning through her business. That is why she is requesting the loan to buy all types of perfume. She will use the perfume to stock up and to have a good variety to offer her customers. She is grateful for the help that she is receiving from Kiva and the Fundación Paraguaya.
