A loan of $450 helped a member to buy corn, vegetable oil and local drinks.

Eternel Group's story

The ETERNEL group has three members who all live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, Antoinette (who is raising her hand in the photo), is 46 years old and married to Anatole. The couple have four children. Some of their children attend school and all of them are still in their care. Antoinette lives together with her husband and children. The couple jointly cover their household expenses. Antoinette herself did not attend school. Antoinette has been selling fruit, 'akassa' (made from cornstarch) and local drinks from her home for a long time. She stocks up at a market in Benin. This is the second time that Antoinette and the other members of the ETERNEL group have requested a loan from ALIDé in order to strengthen their working capital, strengthen their businesses and better respond to their customer demand. Their first loan was repaid correctly.
