Alicia Guillermina's story

Alicia is a member of the communal bank "Yanbal." She lives in the Hierba Buena neighborhood of Cuenca. This is a place with a cold climate, where there are various places to visit and enjoy the beauty of nature. The people here are friendly and gracious, and they still maintain the culture and traditions of their towns.

Alicia is 25 years old and married. She and her husband have 2 children aged 9 and 7 who study in the local school. Her husband is a driver who transports freight to different places. They own the house that they live in.

Alicia devotes herself to the household chores and care of their children, and she also works in a store that she's had for 5 years. She works in the store every day from 6am until 7pm. At her house she also raises guinea pigs, pigs and chickens that she sells in her community.

In her communal bank, she is in her 4th loan cycle, and she will use this loan to buy groceries to stock her store.

Her goal is expand the business a lot.
