Lumiere De Dieu Group's story

The LUMIERE DE DIEU group is comprised of three people who belong to the same artisans association. The group representative, Sohè Frédéric, is the one with his hand raised in the photo. This is the third time that the group has asked for financial support from ALIDé in order to grow their business.

Sohè Frédéric is married to a retailer named Célestine. The couple has five dependent children who all go to school. In addition to their own children, the couple has another child under their supervision. Sohè Frédéric lives with his wife and children. Together, the couple takes care of the family expenses.

Sohè Frédéric stopped going to school after elementary school and learned how to sew. For close to 14 years, Sohè Frédéric has been sewing in his studio in Benin in order to contribute to the various needs of his family. With the goal of buying a new sewing machine so that he can be more competitive on the market, Sohè Frédéric and the other members of the LUMIERE DE DIEU group would ALIDé to grant them another loan. Their two previous loans were reimbursed.
