A loan of $400 helped to buy two calves.

María Pricila's story

María is 55 years old. She is a single mother with three children. For one year she has been buying and selling livestock. Every Wednesday she travels to a market, some 12 kilometers from her home, to buy livestock. As there are a few of them who travel to the market, they pay a truck to transport the animals back to their homes.

María is requesting a loan to buy two calves. She will care for them until they grow up into oxen and then she will be able to provide their services to farmers and make new income. She would to continue increasing the number of animals she has for her business as some of the animals she keeps are for her business and the rest she keeps longer for herself.
