A loan of $1,050 helped to buy second hand clothes in bulk in order to stock her business.

Karla Janina's story

Karla, age 32, is a single mother. She lives with her parents and her two children in a neighborhood in the city of Olanchito.

She has been selling used clothes for three years. She rents a place, and has been able to manage that thanks to the institution.

She is requesting her third loan for 20,000 lempiras. She will use the loan to increase her inventory and her income. She will buy seasonal used clothes in bulk in order to stock up. She already has good clientele, and she is located in a strategic spot for sales.

In the future she would like to build her own place, have her business grow, and have the business generate good income for her.
