Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Emprendedoras" communal bank was formed as a union of 15 neighbours in the city of Mariano Roque Alonso. All the members of the communal bank of independent businesses, but they also work together when they can so they can have mutual help and support. They are a very united group which stands out in their neighbourhood.

Odina is one of the group members, she is a dressmaker and does all kinds of jobs with help from her daughter. She has two children who are already married, who she sacrificed a lot to raise as she is a single mother.

Odina is asking for the help of Kiva and the foundation so she can buy fabrics, threads, bands, fasteners and other supplies to be able to continue working and fulfilling her customer's orders.
