A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase vegetables to sell wholesale.

Rielma Benita's story

Sra. Rielma is 24 years old and is a single mother with a 2-year-old child. She makes a living selling vegetables wholesale. She has a stall in a very busy market in the city of La Paz. This is her first loan with Emprender, and she will use it to purchase vegetables for her business. She is asking for this loan because she doesn’t have enough capital to purchase the vegetables she needs. The main challenge Rielma faces in her business is competition, and that is why she gets up early in the morning to purchase fresh produce that she can sell to her customers. Rielma plans to use her profits from the loan to purchase merchandise so she can increase her working capital and thus improve her income.
