A loan of $850 helped a member to buy sweets, gum, chocolates, cookies, candies, etc.

Las Amigas Group's story

José Medardo is married and has four children. His children are students and depend on him. His wife sells shoes and new clothes.

José used to work as an elementary school teacher but due to health problems had to leave his job. Because he didn’t want to be a burden to his family, he decided to open a gum stand in the local park. He’s asking for a loan to buy what he needs: all types of candy, gum, chocolates, cookies, snacks, etc.

With support from this loan he will be able to stock his stand and continue to contribute towards his children’s food, schooling and health. José’s income isn’t high so his greatest wish is to increase profits so that his home’s economy will improve. José has been a FAMA client for several cycles and has made his installment payments punctually.
